NIKUJYAGA✿JAPANESE HOME COOKING[How to Japan TV]
This recipe introduces NIKUJYAGA that is a representative of mom's cooking tastes in Japan.
NIKUJYAGA (NIKU means meat, JYAGA means potatoes)
Ingredients: potatoes, carrots, onions, thin sliced beef and snow peas.
Ingredients for seasoning: soy sauce, sugar, sake(a Japanese liquor) and mirin(sweet cooking sake).
As for the meat, fatty meat such as beef chuck or beef plate is recommended.
Every family has their own recipe of NIKUJYAGA.
In this recipe, we introduce NIKUJYAGA with a sweet and salty taste.
If you prefer a less spicy version, use less seasoning.
You can add flavor using soup stocks instead of the seasoning.
